Wool roving Blue

100% Finnish sheep's wool.

The wool roving has two strands. The yarn requires a gentle start, it breaks easily, but it is also easy to continue.

Also this yarn called as a pre-yarn, because yarn will spun from this strand.

You can knit, crochet and weave wool roving yarn. Due to the fact that it is not twisted, the yarn felting easy and the knitted surface usually disappears completely.

Wool roving is used a lot for felt work, then make it about 30% bigger product.

Needle recommendation 4-5 mm, when felting 6-7 mm

Knitting density 10 cm: 14 sts x 19 rows (6 mm)

The weight of the disk is approx. 150g, the weight depends on the greasiness and quality of the wool, which is, however, at least 80 rounds.

The sweater uses about 250-350 g of yarn.

Suitable for durable diaper pants or if you want to practice spinning without wool carding.

Gentle hand wash, the best cleaning is airing, because the yarn gets felty easily.
